Very helpful device to have.
I have been eying a machine like this for some time, so I was excited to order this. I twisted my foot twice last year and would have loved to have this at that time to help with swelling.The insulated bucket and components appear to be well made. The instructions are clear and concise. It’s super easy to use once you have your ice, or frozen bottled water as the instructions recommend. I set it up to use with cold water for testing, and even that felt cool to the skin. The water drains are a little stiff and tricky to get positioned so they aren’t in the way. The knee wrap comes with extra hook and loop straps to help secure it. I went all in and used them all for testing. The controller lets you set it to three speeds. It defaults to high, and you can switch to medium and low. The lower the setting, the more pulsing you feel as the pump shuts on and off. You can turn it to stay on or set it to run for intervals in increments of 10, 20, or 30 minutes. The cords for power and the controller are long which is helpful. The pump is quiet and almost indiscernible with the lid closed and zipped.I found three cons.1. There isn’t a special opening for the water tube to exit the cooler, so you have to leave the zipper open a bit to accommodate it. That runs the risk of water spilling should the cooler get knocked over, which is probably unlikely, but it could happen.2. Emptying the cooler could be difficult if it’s filled with water making it heavy. That’s another good reason to use frozen water bottles, so you don’t end up with too much liquid to deal with.3. Cleaning the machine. The water doesn’t really pump out of the lines, and cleaning instructions say to add 16 ounces of isopropyl alcohol to the water after so many uses, and to run bleach through it before long-term storage.Despite a few cons that I suspect all such machines will have, I am quite pleased with it.

Interesting take on a cold therapy machine
I ordered this for my wife’s upcoming knee replacement but unfortunately he doc was in a accident and broke xoe bones so now her surgery is tentatively eschedules for next March. We could not find my Ice Cube that was used for my rotator cuff procedure. Farnuvo’s cold therapy comes with an ice bag, a controiller that has a timer and flow control. My Cube just ran – so that’s a plus because I lived with the pad on my shoulder only to find out later that you are only supposed to use these machines for 20 minutes at a session. But his is is soft sided cooler and the pump will sit freely in the cold water. I will be interested to see if there is condensation on the outdise fabric with as well as how long a load of ice lastes. The pad is a one size fits all and you use the two suppiled velcro straps the hold the pad in place. My cube had specialty pads for different parts of the body (at additional cost of course). The ice bad is a nice extra but the pad is the way to go

Helped with my knee injury, easy to use.
After years of teaching aerobics, I developed patellofemoral syndrome, and it is painful. My recovery includes ice packs, but they slide off and sweat – very difficult to use in my opinion. I decided to try this ice therapy machine – it has helped a lot and I’m very impressed. It’s quiet, well made, and simple to use.The kit looks like a lot, but it’s actually very easy to use and set up. I recommend using the frozen water bottle and that’s probably the hardest and longest part. The machine itself is well made and uses high grade materials. The material is flexible and easy to adjust – since I’m using it on my knee (I may use it on my Achilles tendon too) it wraps all the way around, something an ice pack.It’s light weight and easy to store. The insulated bucket maintains the temperature, and the remote control is great. Plus, the pump is very quiet. Overall this is a great tool for injury recovery! Recommend!

Couldn’t be simpler
I ordered this ice machine as there are a number of us friends who are scheduled for knee replacement in the upcoming months. One right after another! We have each gotten one essential item to pass around, and I decided to get an ice machine. Not knowing how this worked, I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of set-up and how effectively it relieves pain. Follow the directions and you can’t go wrong. Wish this had been out years ago when my mom underwent knee surgery, but I think it used to be a high-ticket rental item. No more!
