Accurate, Not Bulky, Sturdy, Aesthetic
The scale is a beautiful sea foam green/Mint green/pastel green color. Functions accurately and matches my kitchen. Easy to wipe off. Has stoppers to keep from budging. Super light for picking up, thin to slide against wall if I need the cooking space.

Functional and cute!
Really cute food scale! I love the color, it’s small and compact, batteries were included, and it works great. I love the tare function and that I can change the units of weight measurement since it makes checking portions a lot easier than having to convert measurements depending on the packaging. It’s sleek and wipes down easily, has clear instructions, and is good quality especially for the price. I would recommend this for anyone who needs a beginner food scale and wants something cute!

Precise Portions, Impressive Features: A Kitchen Scale That Mostly Delivers
As someone who’s been using the Etekcity Food Kitchen Scale for several months now, I can confidently say it’s become an indispensable tool in my kitchen. Whether you’re a fitness enthusiast tracking macros or a baker striving for the perfect loaf, this scale offers a range of features that cater to various needs.Pros:+ Accuracy: For the most part, the scale provides precise measurements in both grams and ounces, which is crucial for recipes and portion control.+ Sleek Design: The stainless steel construction not only looks modern but is also easy to clean and maintain.+ User-Friendly: The backlit LCD display is clear and easy to read, even in low light conditions.+ Versatility: Multiple unit options (g, oz, lb:oz, ml) make it adaptable for various recipes and needs.+ Tare Function: This feature allows for easy measurement of ingredients in containers, which is a huge time-saver.+ Compact Size: It doesn’t take up much counter space and can be easily stored in a drawer.+ Long Battery Life: Many users report the batteries lasting for months with regular use.Cons:- Sensitivity Issues: Some users have reported that the scale can be overly sensitive to touch, which can affect readings.- Delayed Response: There can be a slight delay in weight readings, especially when measuring liquids or adding small increments.- Auto-Off Feature: While designed to save battery, the quick auto-off can be frustrating if you’re in the middle of measuring multiple ingredients.- Limited Weight Capacity: At 11 lbs (5kg) max, it may not be suitable for larger batch cooking.- Inconsistent Readings: A few users have experienced fluctuating measurements, especially with very light items. In my experience, the scale has been a reliable kitchen companion. I’ve found it particularly useful for baking bread, where precise measurements can make or break a recipe. The tare function has been a game-changer, allowing me to measure multiple ingredients in the same bowl without mental math. However, I have noticed that when measuring very small quantities (less than 5 grams), the scale can sometimes struggle to register changes immediately. This requires a bit of patience and occasionally a gentle tap to update the reading.Despite these minor drawbacks, I believe the Etekcity Food Kitchen Scale offers excellent value for its price point. It’s not perfect, but it’s more than capable of handling most kitchen tasks with ease. Whether you’re counting calories, portioning meals, or perfecting your baking skills, this scale is a solid choice that won’t break the bank.

Works and has variety of options
Works great. The buttons respond and I have had it more than a few years now. Batteries last a long time in it too.

Spot on scale
I’ve had this scale for months and it still works great and I haven’t had to replace a battery!

Perfect little scale
Perfect little scale for office or kitchen use. I checked it against a couple other small scales and it read correctly

This scale is very temperamental.
When it works, it works great. The times that it doesn’t work, are so frustrating. The numbers will skip around and not stop, sometimes you don’t get the same outcome when you weigh the same thing over and over. Most of the time it’s pretty close then out of nowhere the numbers are all over the place. It’s cute and the green is such a pretty color. The price is cheap so it’s not a huge deal, but you do get what you pay for on this item.
