Great First Impression – I already love it. [ and still love it a year later]
[ UPDATE: After a year of using this scale everyday, I still love it. Still on the original batteries. This just does its job. Things I appreciate most about it : It remembers the last scale setting ( grams, oz) so you do not have the select each time. 2. If you put your bowl or other container on the scale before you turn the scale on, it removes or zero out the weight of the container (tare weight) . 3. It is easy to read. 4. The battery life is excellent. It dose its thing without getting in the way.]I felt I need to “weigh” in on this product after receiving it. It is just a scale …. however I had such a positive first impression I thought I would share.1. Packaging: The packaging was such as to give then impression that this company really cares about making quality products. The box not only performs the function of protecting the product during shipping but is made of high quality materials with a zip pull to open. There was substantial rubber/foam cushioning between the weigh plate and the rest of the unit to protect the sensor from impacts and vibration during shipping. The display was protected with a film to prevent potential scratching during shipping. A card encouraging registering the product for a 5 YEAR WARRANTY. The packing materials look and felt nice.2. SCALE: This scale has an LED backlight that sets is apart from its competitors making it not only much easier to read but also provides a touch of elegance. The buttons are touch sensitive an seem to work we well. Sometimes membrane click buttons used on other scales are persnickety. There are multiple units selection Pounds (1.25 pounds), pounds and ounces 1 pound 4.0 oz), ounces ( 20 oz) grams ( 567 grams) and several liquid measures). I really like that this scale remembers the last unit of measure used when you turn it off and back on again. My last scale made me reselect the units each time it turned it on. There are two buttons. One button is the power/ zero button. Touch to turn on, touching while on zero the scale (tare). Press and hold 3 seconds to turn off. The other button it the Unit/Hold button. Touch briefly to cycle through and select the different units, press an hold the button to hold (freeze) the weight on the display.Summary:While it is “just” a scale, the design is well thought out. It looks and feels nice. It is one of those products that just does its job and does not demand that you think about it. You only notice how good it is when you use another scale and miss this one. Purchased this on sale for almost $22. A little higher than other scales but at this juncture i feel well worth the difference. I have no opinion at the point as to accuracy and battery life. I suspect accuracy is not an issue given the attention to detail of the manufacturer.

Greater Goods Stands Behind Their Products
This is a great looking scale and slim too. It takes very little space on the kitchen counter. I’ve had it about a year and I love it. I use it daily to weigh food to calculate the calories. It’s very easy to use and durable as well. You can use it with any container and zero it out to get the right weight. It has several weights like pounds, oz, fluid oz, and grams. You can easily switch between the function. For instance, if you weigh in oz, you can switch to grams without having to remove the food and start over. This makes for better efficiency and functionality. I think it’s an excellent value for the money.Greater Goods stands by their products too. I recently had another scale that failed after 2 years and since they guaranteed the scale for 5 years, they promptly replaced it.

Finally kicked my old flaky drama-queen scales to the curb when this Greater Goods monster rolled in like a boss. Instant crush, zero regrets.Slaps 22 lbs. around no problem and nails every single gram perfectly. Dump in flour or water? Reading locks faster than I can sneeze. Do my paranoid “press every corner” test and it just smirks and stays spot-on. My baking finally stopped being a guessing game!Looks ridiculously hot on the counter, screen is massive and bright, buttons feel fancy instead of cheap junk. Tiny size means it lives forever on my kitchen counter chaos without ticking me off.Quick life hack: tall bowl for huge batches or you’ll hide the display like a rookie. Two-second fix.Now I weigh everything—coffee, veggies, cat food, my hopes and dreams. Batteries laugh at death, auto-off is chill, wipe-down takes half a second. Good but slow
I bought this to use for making sourdough bread.PROS: I like how compact it is so it is easy to store. Very easy to read the display. Accurate and easy to switch between measurement readings.CONS: compared to my old scale that quit working this one doesn’t give readings as quickly. For example: when I pour 280G of water I have to pour a little at a time and then wait a second or two for the scale to tell me the weight. This has caused me to think I wasn’t at the desired weight when really the scale just wasn’t reading fast enough which causes me to over pour.Overall I like it but wish it was faster at reading the measurements. I have to remind myself to wait for scale to tell me the correct reading and not put ingredients in too fast.

this compact scale is easy to set up, right out of the box. register and start using. if not using weights above 22lbs, this is great value for the money. it’s small, but very accurate and can be moved throughout the kitchen.

I love the look and the ease of use of this scale. I am able to measure out the food with ease, and it fits perfectly in my kitchen drawer for storage out the way. I had another model that was not as easy and did not seem to be as accurate as this model is.
