Worth the buy!
The size was not something I paid attention to after I had bought the product. Although I had to return it, I can still comment on the Hanes Women’s Period Briefs. They are leakproof, the colors are varied, the material is soft, and the shape retention is present even after washing. The size is mostly on point; however, after I purchased the Hanes product, I realized I was confused about the product size and had to send it back. The material is a little stretchy, at least that is my opinion. The material is comfortable to wear. I do understand the period briefs are a little pricy, especially as a plus-size woman, but I can say that I have purchased the brand with the correct size three other times, and it’s worth the money. Prior to purchasing Hane’s, I went the cheaper route, and I bought from a brand that was supposed to be rated very well; however, those period panties leaked through, and that is the last thing any woman wants, especially when she is on her menstrual cycle.

Good product for the price, possibly loses absorbency after a few washes.
I think these are great! Although i think they lose absorbency after a few uses/ washes? One pair used to last me one work day, and now it’s soaking through after about 4 hours. Which is still a good amount of time, it’s just definitely less than the first few wears. I’ve purchased some more, and they are cheap and work as intended. For my flow, i think the front and back of the gusset are a good size, the back seam does show through a little bit with tight pants, but i’m not that worried about it. They are very comfortable to wear

Pleasantly surprised!
I move a lot in my sleep, and I bought these in an effort to stop the accidental bleeding on the sheets overnight because the combination of overnight pads and towels wasn’t working, and I wasn’t interested in switching to tampons. I bought these and another brand to try (which was more expensive, and I only got one pair), but right now I prefer these! You get two pairs for half the price of one. They are nice, comfortable, and snug enough that you don’t get that “diaper butt” feeling. The seams are fairly thick, but I didn’t notice them showing when I wore my jeans, which hug my bottom. My flow was pretty light by the time I got these, so I can’t really say how they’ll hold up on heavier days. I was worried about wearing them through a full shift at work without changing, and I had no issues whatsoever. I didn’t feel wet, and I didn’t experience any sagging or leaking during my day. Thumbs up for absorbency! My only concern is that the waistband is a bit loose, so I’m unsure how long it’ll last over time. Honorable mention: I am blessed with a larger backside, and these fit well in that regard.

Sizes irregular
Comfortable padding with moisture wicking. 3-pack, 2 colors. Black pairs fit perfectly, but the brown pair was way too small. Cannot return or exchange since they’ve been washed. .n

Happy with my purchase
Really glad I decided to buy these. I have tried other brands that were almost $20 for one single pair so I was extremely happy to find a three pack for this price. They are such good quality and just as good if not better than the more expensive ones I own. Super comfy, doesn’t feel bulky or uncomfortable at all like some period underwear can. They fit true to size and I love that they have a little bit of stretch to them. I’ve worn them on both heavy flow days and light flow days and had no issues. If you’re considering trying out period underwear, these are a great place to start.

I like these more than Thinx! (read ↓)
I got a pair of Thinx for free at a food drive (brand new of course), and it was my first time ever trying any kind of period underwear. Was pretty impressed and wanted to buy some more with my own money but I looked them up and they were quite pricey, so I didn’t end up buying any. So for the longest time I’ve only had 1 period underwear. I saw this 3pk period underwear from Hanes and decided to purchase since I was already buying some socks from Hanes, and the pack of period underwear was a good price.I only wear period underwear during the medium to light flow days and pads on heavy flow days. Not because I don’t trust it, but just for my own reassurance and it’s just my personal preference, plus I change my pad frequently throughout the day on heavy flow days. I’m not gonna change underwear multiple times a day, it’s not convenient for me. Therefore I can’t speak too much on absorbency since I don’t wear on heavy flow days. I’ve never had any leakage with the medium flow and/or light flow days.I like these a lot more than Thinx because of the leak protection liner material covers more than Thinx, which is important for overnight, or if you are going to do a lot of sitting. With my Thinx pair, the leak protection liner material only goes up a little bit past your cheeks, whereas the Hanes underwear covers a bit further up your crack, similar to overnight length pads. That being said, there is a visible seam (a straight line across the butt) where the leak protection liner material meets the cotton underwear material, if you wear with leggings (not sure if the Thinx ones do this, I haven’t worn leggings with those). I wear baggy pants most days, especially while on my period, so it’s not an issue for me, but it’s something to keep in mind if you tend to wear leggings.Overall very happy with this purchase!! The coverage of the leak protection liner material makes wearing period underwear overnight stress-free. I would leak with wearing my Thinx overnight because I would leak further past the leak protection liner and onto the cotton part wear your butt is. Not Hanes though!! Very impressed 👍

I’m going to buy this again. I love that the waistband does not dig in and that the legs are soft, but feel secure. It’s thin, cotton material (except for the ‘pad’ part; idk what material that is) so it’s good for night time if you get hot.I am a size 14-16 women’s pants, men’s 36 pants, and my hips are around 46inches around the fullest part. Fit like a dream.Stopped all leaks at night, and I even wear them during the day for comfort.I wear them alone. And I have had no leaks.Generally, I wear an OB super tampon. This is fast absorbing, and I don’t feel like I’m wearing a period product. For laundry, I rinse them with water while I shower. Then I wring them out, and put them in the washing machine with similar colours. I wash them twice most times (2cycles), then I machine dry on high setting.

Women who sneeze or cough after a hysterectomy and have a little pee escape need these. They are comfortable, leak proof and feel better than wearing incontinence pads or diaper.
