Doesn’t keep the water cold for long, and has a strange smell
I am not sure what I expected. It’s just a water bottle, and I can’t say that it keeps the water cold for long. When I first used it I wanted to see how it keeps the temperature. It says it would keep it cold for 24 hrs. That is certainly not the case.Before filling it with water the temperature indicator of the lid shows 83 degrees. After filling it with cold water from the refrigerator and closing it it went down to 69 degrees. Without opening it the next few hours the temperature went up to 75 and then 79 degrees. That’s after about 6-7 hours. And I wasn’t even outside in the heat. You add that and opening it to drink it will probably be even warmer.The second thing you have to be aware of is that it doesn’t have a lid to drink with. So you have to unscrew the lid when you want to drink and your lips touch the metal which I don’t particularly like.When I first opened the bottle after I received it, it had a strong smell inside that I can’t even describe. I washed it out, then filled it with water. After the bottle was empty I smelled it again and the strange odor was still there. I don’t know what it is, but I don’t remember ever having smelled that on any other water bottle I had.

Good Quality Water Bottle
This is a solidly made, good quality water bottle with some pros and cons:Pros:1. Nice looking and easy to wipe off with a lightly textured outer coating that seems like it will hold up to a lot of use2. Thick, easy to wash, interior stainless steel that holds the temperate of cold water adequately3. Comfortable mouth opening for drinking liquids4. Temperature gauge right in the lid of the cup5. Comfortable, sturdy carry handleCons:1. Have to be careful washing lid because of the temp gauge. Cup is hand washable only.2. Have to unscrew and take off the lid to drink out of the bottle3. The cup doesn’t consistently hold temperature as long as describedOverall, it’s a good cup that will fit into most cars. But the temperature gauge isn’t as useful as having a cup that I didn’t have to fully unscrew when driving or walking…and makes washing more cumbersome. This is definitely good quality bottle and I like it on days when I want to just chug water out of a bottle…but it isn’t my 1st pick for walks or driving trips.
