When choosing a supplement, I have a few non-negotiable requirements. It must be made in the USA, manufactured in a GMP-certified facility, and tested by a third-party lab. This NewRhythm Women’s Probiotics supplement meets all of my requirements. It contains 120 billion CFUs of 13 strains of lacto and 6 strains of bifido bacteria. It also contains 2 billion CFUs of Akkermansia Muciniphilia, which is a postbiotic. 200 mg of prebiotic fiber is included in the formula to feed the probiotics in the gut. A delayed-release capsule ensures the probiotics pass unharmed through the stomach to the intestinal tract. I have worked very hard through the years to address GI issues through gut health. Probiotics have proven to be extremely beneficial for me with noticeable health gains. In addition to prebiotic, probiotic, and postbiotic bacteria, the supplement also contains digestive enzymes, B vitamins, inositol, and supplements aimed at urinary tract health. It’s an impressive formula with one big disappointment for me. They used an active form of B12, but then ruined it by using synthetic folic acid instead of 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF). Why? Unfortunately, that makes it unsuitable for me or any member of my family since we have an extremely common gene mutation that I can’t name in this review. We refrain from taking any supplement with synthetic folic acid. I’m really disappointed because this is a great formula minus the synthetic folic acid. The supplement is Vegan and free of GMOs, gluten, sugar, soy, yeast, dairy, egg, wheat, corn, peanuts, fish, shellfish, magnesium stearate, artificial ingredients, fillers, binders, and preservatives. Each bottle will last 30 days at the suggested daily serving size of two capsules. At the current price of $17.99, the cost per serving is $0.60. The expiration date is 30 months in the future, allowing plenty of time to use the supplement before it expires.
