Portable Walking Pad with Handle Bar for Home & Office – Great For Home Fitness Room
This Portable Walking Pad with Handle Bar for Home & Office is a Fantastic addition to my home fitness room and I really like using it. I’m in my late 60’s and I do not go to those paid membership fitness centers mostly because of my work hours and I don’t want to pay monthly for a bunch of nautilus machines and free weights I do not use so I built my own fitness center in one of our spare bedrooms. This walking pad is pretty heavy to pick up so I wouldn’t say it is as “portable” and you might think it is but that being said, this walking pad is very solidly built and is constructed of very good quality materials. I do not really use it for walking but more for running. With the graduated levels of speed, it allows me to gradually warm up to a fast pace walk and then into a full run, and then allows me to cool down my pace back to a walk pace and then a stop. This does have a kill-switch which you attach to our shirt or wrist and if you stumble or fall it does stop the machine IMMEDIATELY so be careful of that that because if you are only stumbling a little and you pull the magnetic switch from its’ place it will stop immediately and you will more than like fall. It also has a remote that has a magnet in it and you can magnetically attach it to the hand rail if you like or you can put it around your wrist using the lanyard provided. When I took this out of the box, there really wasn’t any parts I had to put together and it was well packaged so there was no damage either – that is really great. Also, it does include an allen wrench in case you need to adjust the belt if it starts running towards one side or the other but I didn’t have to adjust anything – straight out of the box and plugged in it worked superb. I only have 2 minor issues with this treadmill: 1 – the length is a bit short to get a good running stride so you have to stay as far forward on it if you run on it. 2 – the handle bar is really a nice feature but I wish that it moved foward more to give you more forward room if you are running because at the angle that it is you really can’t get an arm swing and end up having to hold onto the bars and this does affect your running breath rate. Over all, I really like this Portable Walking Pad with Handle Bar for Home & Office and would recommend it to anyone that wants to stay active and stay healthy. This is a good value if you look at others and look at quality.

Excellent Features with a Moderate Noise Level
In a room or apartment with limited space, full-size treadmills aren’t always a practical choice for cardio exercise. This walking pad provides a means to allow light to vigorous walking in those limited space situations.Size:Having an approximate 45 x 20¼ inch base footprint including the collapsed bar, this walking pad doesn’t demand a lot of space while in use or when storing. Its power cord is around 64 inches including the plug, which allows sufficient length to reach a power outlet without interfering with the device while in use. At approximately 14⅛ inches wide and 37 inches long, the running belt’s area may limit some users with wider stances or longer strides.Features:This walking pad provides many usable features.• Approximate 39½ inch tall collapsible bar (measured from running belt surface to the top of the bar not including the control panel).• Panel on the bar with push buttons to control starting, stopping, pausing, and speed adjustments.• A magnetic safety key that attaches to the center of the bar’s control panel with a clip to secure it to clothing.• Remote control that provides the same functions as the bar’s control panel.• Fold down height adjustment feet to lift the surface to an 8% incline.• Four adjustable foot pads to level the treadmill.• Rollers at the bottom of the motor housing to move the treadmill when not in use.• Speed adjustments in tenths of a mile-per-hour.One of the best features is the collapsible bar with convenient controls and a magnetic safety key. At approximately 39½ inches tall, the bar’s height is usable for balance if needed. Tightening the latch mechanism knobs that hold the bar in place gives it a solid feel when in use. I tried the magnetic safety keys functionality, and it immediately stopped the belt when it detached from the control panel.Remote Control and Display Panel:A rocker switch on the front-bottom controls the initial power to the walking pad. Using the remote allows starting, stopping, and setting speed adjustments. An intuitive layout makes the remote control simple to use. The remote includes a preinstalled battery plus an extra 3V CR2025 battery. While in use, the display cycles through “Time-Speed-Distance-Calories” counters. The display area is large and bright enough to read while walking.Use:I used the walking pad for 3.3-mile and 5.3-mile walks. The highest speed I set was 4.6 mph. While the motor noise is noticeable, it is much less than another walking pad I have. There was a slight whining sound at higher speeds, but I could not tell whether it was from the motor or belt rotation.On the bar the controls are easily accessible, and I primarily used my thumbs to start, stop, and control the speed of the belt. While walking, the display was readable at a glance. Since the length of the walking surface is shorter than most full-size treadmills, I had to accustom myself to placing the forward foot as close to the front edge of the belt as possible.Summary:This walking pad delivers some of the features that are available on full-size treadmills such as a hand-reachable control panel and magnetic safety key. A standout feature is the bar which is usable for balance if needed. Even though the bar is good for balance, I would not depend on it for strenuous use. The control panel in the center of the bar facilitates quick adjustments while in use. The manual incline feet are easy to flip down and up but do not offer the variable incline positioning of a regular treadmill. While the display is easy to read, it shows distances down to a tenth of a mile rather than a hundredth of a mile, so quarter mile measurements are not available.If limited space limits your cardio workout routine, a walking pad is an option that provides the basic functionality of a treadmill. Overall, this walking pad delivers on that functionality with good features, a moderate noise level, and portability.
