Heavy, solid blocks
I had a set of the foam blocks that I thought I liked, but they would twist on me when stretching with all your weight in certain positions. My yoga instructor suggested I get the cork blocks instead, and I’m glad I listened to her. They are very stable, solid blocks and I would highly recommend them.

these are absolutely the best. super durable and waterproof. supportive and stable because of the extra width. these just don’t rock or roll around underneath like other yoga blocks I’ve had in the past. I feel so safe while using these, allows me to relax deeper into poses.

Solid Support for Yoga Pose Modifications
All of the products I have used from the Body by Yoga folks are superior to any others I have tried. Period. These blocks are no exception. They are solid and very supportive. They greatly assist the modifications some of us older folks find are necessary to attain the benefits of a yoga practice. The blocks are designed by yoga instructors for use by actual beginners. They are slightly heavier than some other yoga blocks I have, but the extra weight is not daunting and adds to the supportiveness of the blocks. They work and they work well!

I have been needing/wanting something like this for so long! Excellent!
Oh my gosh I’m so glad this exists! Long time chronic pain person (also a chiropractor), pelvic injury at a very young age, yoga keeps me feeling good in my body but I don’t tend to progress too much as far as flexibility is concerned because of damage to the obturator nerves. I only recently realized exactly what was happening, and now know how to really care for my hips by not going so deep, so these blocks really help stabilize in any standing forward fold, in such a supportive way.This is amazing to have for things like side angle and triangle especially, where I’m in uneven pelvis/leg positions and want my true stretch, which lower blocks are too far away for (or even forearm on leg is awkward with the hip tension I already have). I was trying two blocks stacked but that’s so unstable, which caused me to come and search for this. I recently ordered a second so I have a pair now, and love them for things like warrior 3 or even just a lunge where the teacher has elbows on the ground and I can’t get down that far, so I bring the ground (way) up to me with these. They have just been so useful, even for a supine twist where my twisting leg feels pinched and cuts off breath if I lower it all the way to the ground. Even just a bolster isn’t enough but with this stacked on top of the bolster, supportive. Highly recommend them, they really take your practice to another level if you’re not super bendy.
