Wanted to help with cholesterol numbers
When I was forced to work from home in March due to the pandemic, rumors spread rapidly that people were going to put on the COVID-19 pounds. I couldn’t let that happen to me so I started 30 minutes of morning aerobics and started taking one of these pills every other day. I don’t like taking pills full dose until I know how my body handles them.Well, I got my blood work last week and my cholesterol levels dropped from just over 200 (6 months ago) to 188. My doctor was extremely surprised. My good HDL went up, my bad LDL went down and my sugar dropped too. I am not sure if it was the daily exercising that I started, or these pills, but since she told me not to stop what I was doing, I am going to continue my morning ritual and my every other day Psyllium Husk Capsule.After all, when my doctor is happy, everyone is happy!!!UPDATE 7/24/2021 – just went see my doctor. Last year when I started having problems with pain near my gall bladder, I stopped taking these. I had ultrasounds that found nothing, but for some reason, I still stopped taking these. I started WW in May, kept up my morning aerobics and lost 10 pounds in the past few months. Regardless of those changes, my cholesterol number went up a bit. Still not back to where I was before, but now I purchased more of these pills and have started taking them again. If my numbers go back down next year, it is proof that these pills are causing my cholesterol to drop. Even my doctor said that she would be curious if this is the cause for those good numbers. I only take one pill per day, so they cause no digestive issues with me at all… just making me get great reports from my doctor!! I am now on a subscription and saving a few pennies. Paying $5 per month to get my cholesterol under control is a no brainer!

After two separate operations removed 2 feet of my colon I have a high need for fiber so I tried this brand and it has worked perfectly for me. It makes me completely regular. The bottle says don’t take it for extended periods but I’ve been on it for months and months and months

Gotta love fiber!
Taking fiber every night has become part of my routine over the past year. Not only does it keep you regular, but its good to take if you have high cholesterol like me. On days where I eat tons of fiber, I don’t take these, but most of the time I do. Make sure you drink plenty of water with them or you might have an upset belly. I was previously using the ones from Costco but these are equally good.

easiest way to get fiber ever
got these on request from my doctor regarding my intestinal problems i was having and i have to say its been pretty seamless getting my fiber daily from these capsules. No mixing, drinking nasty fake orange flavored grainy drinks, or worse yet bulky drinks that you hurriedly get down before they choke you. One capsule with a glass of water along with my other prescription pills and im done. Its got me regular. Cost is right. will order more. Note: the pill is large, so if you have problems with swallowing pills it may not be for you, i take a sip of water then down my handful of pills including this fiber one and swallow the lot, then finish off my glass of water. no problemo

30% hidden price increase, no longer formulated in USA, and no gelatin.
Silly me. It said “buy again.” So I did because I’ve been using it for a couple of years at least and liked the product. Same named product, Picture on bottle changed, but it still said 1500 mg, 180 tablets. But today it arrived. Lo and behold. The serving size has now changed from 2 caps a day to 3 caps a day.So now there are only 60 servings per container and not 90. Went back and looked at product details narrative. Doesn’t provide that detail.Again, silly me. If I had been shopping for a new product, I’d have thought to compare that detail so I could compare apples with apples. (There is another brand that for the same dosing requires 5 capsules a day.)But, I naively reordered as I have done three or four times before. But this time I wasn’t vigilant.Also noted in comparing the old bottle to the new bottled that it no longer bears a USA marking. And the new version no longer contains gelatin.
