Great for tightening skin as you lose weight!
Worked great!. But for the heating to work make sure you turn on first then chose the setting and then the plus sign for the level of heat and then the timer. I’ve had this for almost a year and I’ve been using it for skin tightening. For skin tightening you need to use the setting with the red light and the NIR at the same time. Every day for at least 30 minutes. I do use it around my waist but the light only covers like the front of my stomach right below my bra so I do a second session and move it to my back on the highest setting. When I take it off you can see the little dots from the lights but that goes away. I simply just use it while I’m watching TV. It does get warm like a heating pad. It works wonders when on your menstrual. It really does help with joint pain too!! Will be buying another one as a Christmas gift

Five stars because this RLT belt us the best. Great price. Great quality, Recovered fully using this belt for TBI. It also healed years-long injuries to wrist, shoulder and feet.The protective plastic cover is set aside. Keep it in case a sweaty friend drops by. I have a 34” inch waist and the belt is 31” long so It wraps comfortably. Special great design includes two pulse settings, 10 or 40. That dissipates some of the heat produced by the Near Infrared — much more comfy. Never gets too hot set to 40. I think maybe the removable velcro strap is kinda clumsy. Get one or twice. Get ready to be amazed. I spend one hour every morning combined with 12 mg capsules of MB. I am 71. I am thinking of using four of these at a time to create full coverage front and back. Planet Fitness has a RLT beds, those cost thousands, and GMOWNW RLT is a bargain.

I have found this product easy to wrap around the back, shoulder, or limb for convenient light treatment while traveling. Thanks to this wearable design, my hands are free to hold a book or type on a computer keyboard. I connect it with a USB power bank, which I put in a pocket of my jacket. This way I am able to walk around and do some house chores while wearing it for joint or muscle pain relief in the upper body. When I travel, this is my preferred red + infrared light device on the go.

RLT is great, smell not so great
Minus one star due to horrible smell. I bought this as I really believe in RLT and at my age aches and pains are more normal than not!!!This belt is good, it’s flexible, has a plastic covering over the lights so you can clean if needed, it’s long enough to use most anywhere on your body. I used on my knee for 30 minutes yesterday today it feels better. Also using on my foot for plantar fasciitis which so far isn’t helping.I like that I can plug into an outlet or use it with a battery pack so great options and will work even without electricity!!!RLT is safe, effective, and medicine free way to improve your health. Your skin improves, your muscles improve, your circulation improves, blood flow improves…I just wish the horrible smell would go away. I plan on using on my dog if the smell disappears.

I purchased for recovery from a car accident with multiple injuries, widespread pain, and concussion. It warms up nicely and provide relief. Best to use while resting, though wish it had cordless option. The cord easily disconnects if I move. I appreciate that for safety reasons, though I do wish it wasn’t so easy to disconnect or that it had battery instead. Also, the wires are annoying to find a plug-in near by and get tangled up with other cords, blankets, clothes, chair, etc. Wish the control pad, which is on the cord (understandably so) were not so easily bumped and messed with during use, while keeping easy to set by hand. You have to hold still so not able to use during PT or mobility session (or even while resting in chair or bed) and not able to multi-task (such as bedtime routine).I am able to use on my shoulder (one at a time) but wish I could do both. Too big to use on neck. To use on neck, rig it up while laying down, but with effort, patience etc, I try to make it work. Will buy a separate smaller neck one as budget allows. Appreciate the HSA/FSA and medical reimbursement for this reason. Wouldn’t have been able to purchase without that.Works best on waist, hips, one leg or one shoulder at a time, for a medium size or curved area – not for large areas. To do all the areas I need, I have to do a session and then move on to the next. Which in a pinch, or for one area is great, but in ongoing use, a cordless option would do better so I can free up to pair with other pad, do my bedtime routine and/or not get tangled up, even in resting. The timer is wonderful. It automatically shuts off so I know I’m done, or in case I fall asleep or lose track of time. I do wish the timer stayed with my last setting instead of resetting each time, but no biggie, I know I have to set it. It’s just annoying when I forget or accidentally hit the control pad during use and it changes the setting. Thankfully HSA/FSA options, I ended up buying a larger pad which works better for me, which unfortunately is also wired, but I get more area done during session and pair it with this one for shoulder and/or wrap around hips. I also will need to get a separate, smaller one for neck specifically.This is still great and effective relief/healing support for a targeted medium size curved area while keeping it in close contact to skin for greatest efficacy. Pair with other devices for specific size or area needs.PS, I do use it on my face which is nice for my skin. When doing so, I do wear block outtanning goggles, but through incidental use, I have surprisingly realized that SOME light exposure by looking at it for limited time (just a few minutes) has been helpful for eyes and brain and strangely/suprisingly seems to also help with body pain relief as well. Perhaps that is a something to discuss with your medical provider or recovery team.Overall – IT WORKS.

Good value but could have some upgrades.
This belt replaces a previous one that developed a short in the cord (not same brand) and so far it seems very good-this wiring is a heavier gauge. Easy to operate. Would have given 5 stars but I wish the belt was longer or perhaps even came with an extender for larger waists. Also from previous experience with the extremely fine velcro I expect the holding power to reduce over time and it’s extremely tedious trying to clean lint or fibers out to make it stick better. Overall good value for money.
