How did we get our start?
Brothers Ryan and Shane Mcgrotty started REP in Longmont, Colorado, in a 1,200-square-foot retail storefront with a two-car garage. They filled it with a few pieces of equipment and stacked bumper plates to the ceiling in the closet. Their shop wasn’t a big, flashy space, but even in the humble garage, the brothers’ goal was to see people’s eyes light up when they walked into the space. They wanted to bring back the art of customer experience. They also wanted to sell high-quality gear they would (and did) buy, use, and love themselves.
REP Gives Back: Police, Fire & Military
Our respect for those who provide our freedom and security is what drove our desire to give back. In 2023, we chose to pledge $100,000 to three great charities that help military and first responder’s families. In this way we can ensure the money we give goes to those with the greatest need, and continues our tradition of honoring those who serve our nation and our community. Beautiful, nice quality, great finish
I have been using Dragondoor kettlebells for several years. They have a great fit and finish with a nice thick handle and good build quality.I moved and there is a gym room at the new place. I didn’t want to take my personal kettlebells there so I ordered one of these Rep kettlebells. I have used it a few times already and it has a beautiful appearance with great feel and the paint coating is a good mix of grip and smoothness.The bottom is perfectly flat and would be useful for push-ups or stability. The color coded bands are a good idea, and the stamp of the pounds/kilos is very clear.It seems to be a good balance of quality for price. The Dragon door kettle bells can be quite pricey and then you have to pay shipping. I ordered a 16 kg and I plan to order a 20 kg as well.If I had one gripe about these kettlebells, though, it’s that the handle is not thick enough. Kettlebells with a thicker grip also build your grip strength.** If the Rep team reads these comments, I’d recommend that they increase the thickness of the kettlebell grip by at least half an inch, or whatever is the same as Dragondoor. The thicker grip also helps with stability and forearm strength. It also makes doing inverted work like “bottoms up” presses better and more stableSo overall, these have a great fit and finish as well as function. If the grip was a bit thicker, then you could probably add a star.

Best Kettlebells & Exceed Price Point
REP has some of the best kettlebells on the market! Quality, feel, coating, balanced weight, handle design and size, and the durability really does make a difference in the KB game, don’t hesitate to pull the trigger on REP’s KB’s. Added bonus is they are cheap when you compare them to brands like KBK, rogue, onnit, titan, SoCal, and bells of steel just to name a few that I own or have used in recent years, so that’s saying a lot! On my recent purchase I had to contact REP customer service and they went above and beyond my expectation, even though it was a tiny issue, honestly it was petty on my part, but they definitely hooked me up!Get em and keep hammering!Ohh and they usually offer free shipping even when buying direct.

Like most people in these crazy times.. I was looking for a good at home workout to supplement my usual Brazilian jiu jitsu which I am currently unable to do. These kettlebells are awesome. I have had experience kettlebell workouts in the past and recently purchased a few workouts that are fun and challenging. As for the bells themselves, they are state of the art and showed up within 4 days of purchase. Best part of all was the free shipping. I found other products on other sites that were almost identical with some hefty shipping charges. This definitely saved me a lot of money. Would recommend to anyone looking to train with kettlebells whether very experienced or beginner. I would also recommend any dvds you could find on amazon with Keith Webber. The workouts are super challenging depending on what weight you go with. I am 5’10 176 lbs and am in pretty good shape for the most part. For a beginner I would recommend a 12 kg ( 26 lb). If your intermediate to advanced, I would recommend a 16 kg ( 35 lb) kettlebell as well as a 20 kg (44 lb) kettlebell. Now this would be challenging regardless of advanced training. Personally I am more of a cardio and functional body weight person that likes to throw around lighter dumbbells/ pull-ups/ sprints, for endurance workouts. 15-20 lb dumbbells to be exact!! The heaviest Dumbbell weight I go with is 35lbs. But again, I’m looking to maintain a leaner more athletic physique built for sport and mma type training. If your like me, than these kettlebells are exactly what you need to keep yourself busy whether hiit training or just looking to get into flow kettlebell training. I would highly recommend!

Best deal going for gym quality bells
first rate – shipping & packaging. received from CA to SW FLA 3 days earlier than expected and packed so fed ex would have to try extra hard to damage. the bells are well made, surface is uniform, bottoms are flat smoothe, handles have right amount of grip for me. finish may not be pretty, but they are well balanced and for the cost are 5/5

Great KB Set
Love these. Did my first workout with them today. Coating is great, no seams on the kettlebells, and perfect increase in weight from kb to kb for progression. The colors on them are great to track what weight I’m using as well. A little pricey but will last a lifetime on the mats in my gym.
