Over the past year, I have assembled to pretty nice home gym and I’m always looking for pieces to add to it.Jumping rope is something that I was never really fan of, and doing it in the house would especially be difficult since my ceilings aren’t super high.So when I came across this listing, I thought it was pretty ingenious how you can use it without an actual rope, and the fact that it was a smart app keeping track of everything, I was definitely intrigued and loved all that I read about it.I decided to go ahead and place an order for it and it arrived very quickly.First impression out of the box was that it is really cool looking and definitely very Unique.The handles appear to be very sturdy and solid and the rope material is also a step up from the typical rope used in traditional jump ropes.I attached the short ropes with the ball at the end immediately, as that’s the one I’m going to be using in the home.Jumping rope without a rope is such a fantastic idea!The fact that it has so many features as far as what it keeps track of is pretty awesome.It has you scan a QR code as far as the set up and instructions for it.Sometimes that frustrates me because I don’t know why paper instructions can’t be included , but it wasn’t really too much of an effort to scan and go to the app itself.Initially, it was quite hard for it to pair up with my phone.It took many tries so it first I was going to take a star off, but then it went through fine, and now is paired up with my phone so I’m keeping my five star review.It’s such a really cool item and if jumping rope is something that you are into or looking to start, I don’t think you need to look much further than this product.It’s absolutely fantastic and truly a game changer.I hope my review helps you to make a more. I thought this is a fun addition to the workout routine. It was simple (as described) to adjust the length for my needs. I like the fact it can be adjusted without any tools. It was easy to pair the app on my iPhone, though it could be used without a phone too. The default function was a minute of jumping. Press the button and start until the time ends. I think it is kind of fun to push and try to get better and faster. While it is fun, it does have the app for tracking progress and workouts.. the one thing that I’m not the biggest fan of is the cord and weight is kind of heavy. My double unders are not great to begin with, this rope makes it nearly impossible (at least for me). The handle is also a little bigger than I usually have for my normal speed rope. In the end, I think it is reasonable priced for what you get and the smartphone integration. It is still fun to complete little challenges and allows me to focus on jumping and not counting.Also, came with two small ball attachments, they called short ball skipping. These can be used instead of the rope to simulate the rotation of the rope without it. You can’t miss a jump this way, but it is great for novices or where you want to simulate the activity and don’t have the space or are afraid of the noise.

Returning to jump roping after many years, I recently tried this smart jump rope and it’s been quite a journey. The rope, more a wire, connected easily to the handles, but my initial experience reminded me that I’m not as agile as I used to be. It took a bit of time to find my rhythm again, but once I did, the experience improved significantly.Linking the rope to its accompanying app, “Fitdays+”, was a bit tricky. The app wasn’t readily findable in the Google Play Store which required me to use the QR code in the instructions. With only 10K downloads and no reviews, I hesitated before downloading. However, the app itself is impressively polished and user-friendly. Setup was straightforward, requiring only Bluetooth permissions and an email address. It’s compatible with other fitness devices and provides comprehensive data for jump rope workouts.One unexpected feature was the app’s audio component, which initially included a voice countdown and music during routines. This was a bit startling, but thankfully, I found settings to disable these features.The jump rope’s quality is top-notch, offering a smooth and efficient exercise experience. The app is well-designed and a valuable tool for tracking fitness progress. However, I have concerns about the privacy aspect. The app lacks clear options to limit data sharing, and the terms of service suggest that Fitdays+ collects data whenever the app is used.In summary, this smart jump rope has positively impacted my exercise routine, but I’m reserving one star due to the privacy concerns related to the app.

This skipping rope is excellent for smaller spaces or for skipping in doors. After reading reviews on the benefits of skipping, I really wanted to give it a go but struggled with the weather as I live in an area with lots of rain so this was ideal. I’ve been using this for a few months now and it still works as it should.

The rope is fine but doesnt sync with Google fit (as advertised). I tried contacting support through the app and also the website and received no answer.
