Best wireless thermometer (and we’ve had a bunch)
It’s dead accurate and simple to use. Meat temp and grill/oven temp in one probe isn’t new but it works perfectly on the Typhur. Temps show immediately when the probe is removed and we haven’t had any connection issues. Wifi and the 10x sub-1g is so much better than bluetooth. We can have the grill outside the walkout patio and the base unit connects everywhere in our house. The Typhur app is full featured, polished and easy to use. One app works with their oven, air fryers and sous vide machine. The price is too low to believe. We bought two of these and will be throwing our other wireless unit away.Hoping to try other Typhur products in the future.

Accurate, Simple, and Worth It
Summary:A user-friendly, accurate thermometer that makes cooking so much easier and more consistent.Pros:• Super simple setup — ready to go in minutes• Very easy to use, even for beginners• Works great and gave me perfectly cooked steak• Real-time temperature tracking is extremely helpful• Built-in magnet lets it stick to the fridge for quick accessCons:• This model only includes one thermometer, so you can’t monitor multiple foods at the same timeOverall:I’ve already been recommending this to my friends! It’s a great product that does exactly what it promises. If you want reliable results and effortless temperature tracking, this thermometer is a solid choice.

Nice thermometer once you get used to setting it up.
Nice set of features, and it compliments my Typhur Dome air fryer. It takes a few meals to remember how to set the features and alarms, but once you figure this out it the thermometer works well. I like the simplicity of it when compared to my Meater. I haven’t used this on my outdoor grill yet, but I believe it will work better than the meater one because of higher heat tolerance and stronger Bluetooth.

First Cook was Terrific
I have one cook under my belt with this unit and I loved it. So much better than my wired probes, especially with my Kamado Joe. The probe is not too large and it tracked well with the temperature of my instant read thermometer. Set up for the app is super easy, and the monitoring screen is thoughtfully designed. It is a snap to use. The overall design is engineered nicely (think Apple styling). I really like the magnetic backing on the device so I can ‘stick’ it to the side trays on my Kamado Joe. I had no problem with connectivity and was able to monitor my low-and-slow cook even when I left for lunch out. There was a consistent difference between the probe’s ambient reading and the thermometer on my grill. But I have not typically put a lot of faith in standard grill thermometers. Time will tell with durability, but like any electronic device, care is in order. I was impressed with the Typhur website and registration, so I feel like this is a quality company who designs, engineers, and stands by their solid products.

Has great range/distance!
I’m still fumbling around each time I try to set it up for a cook. But once set, it work very well.Would be nicer if the probe was a little thinner for smaller cuts of meat.

The Best Meat Thermometer
Best wireless thermometer bar none. For the price especially.

This thing no longer working. Too late for a refund so the loss is on us. Buyer beware.
We wanted a temperature probe that was simple and works well. This one was it. We grill as often as possible and were just tired of having a good piece of meat come out either over or under cooked. I like a steak medium and my wife likes it medium well to well done. We use a Weber Genesis E410 that works great and has good heat control. Our first use of this Typhur thermometer gave us a great result. Not sure how it will work on a larger item like a brisket or a turkey but, at this point, we see no reason to expect any lesser result. It had accuracy, good range, and seems quite durable. Grilling is, among other things, is its own social event., so we did not use an “Ap” to watch the event on a smart phone. (We try to limit the use of smart phones when we are outside to encourage human interaction.) Typhur offers an Ap but the base unit was all we wanted to try and it works great.

A Game-Changer for Precision Cooking
We’ve had the Typhur Sync Smart Meat Thermometer for a few months now, and it’s been nothing short of amazing. The wireless probe is a total game-changer, it frees you up from cords and gives you the flexibility to monitor your cook remotely. It charges via USB-C, which is super convenient. I can use the same charger that powers my smartphone to charge a meat thermometer, imagine saying that sentence 20 years ago.The companion app is one of the highlights. It displays incredibly useful temperature data, including readings from multiple points within the probe to show the gradient of heat inside the meat. You even get a real-time graph tracking the temperature over time, which is especially helpful for monitoring the entire cooking process. And best of all: the app is currently free with no subscription required (fingers crossed it stays that way). The thermometer seems to be very accurate. While I haven’t tested it against lab equipment, the NIST certification and consistently reliable results give me confidence. I’ve made sure the temps fall within my personal margin of error—and so far, so good. I can’t speak for others who may have had issues with the probe, but from what I’ve seen, Typhur’s customer service has a solid reputation. I appreciate that they seem to genuinely stand behind their products. While I primarily use the thermometer for reverse searing steaks, it’s versatile enough for anything from steak to turkey, chicken, or pork loin. If you’re serious about cooking and want precision without hassle, this is a fantastic investment.Highly recommended.

I am really happy with this meat thermometer. I like to make roasts in my dutch oven and dabble in using my husband’s smoker but I’m not always the most confident when it comes to the doneness of my meat and I despise the idea of cutting my meat open to see it’s colour. My wired thermometer doesn’t have the best response time or accuracy. So I am beyond happy to give this thermometer a try. Firstly, I love how the wireless signal is so strong. I can walk anywhere in the house and still get a signal from outside near the BBQs or from within the oven. The app is great. I love that if there is something on low and slow smoke, I can leave the area for a bit and know what is happening with the meat. I like the ability to use it from an app, but there is a lot to be said about the base being the main control of the thermometer. I’m not limited to my phone, anyone in the household can use it and if for some reason the app stops updating I’m not stuck with a meat thermometer that I can no longer use. I think that is key. The accuracy of this meat thermometer seems to be spot on and I have definitely gained a lot more confidence in my meat cooking abilities. I can let my meat rest knowing that it is cooked properly. The overall quality of the thermometer is great. It is crazy that it can withstand temperatures of up to 900 degrees. I also love that I can put the probe into the dishwasher. This thermometer is a total, budget friendly win in my books.

Okay, I’m a home cook. I’m particular about the results of my meat proteins. I paid $100 for a thermometer which promises to put me on my best game in the kitchen and on the patio– Oven, BBQ, Smoker. This unit is lovely looking, sleek, and relatively easy to use. However, on my first experience (and it was raining out) the signal did not penetrate the Traeger when the meat was wrapped in foil, and deliver the data in the house, even 12 feet away. I kept getting notified via blank screen that the signal was lost. Ultimately, I had to put the unit 2 feet away, outside in the rain, throughout the cook to monitor the temperature. The manufacturer glorified it but left a few potential issues out of the pitch. Would I appreciate my money back? Possibly, if this, and perhaps other issues, continue to arise. I would like a bit more than 30 days to decide. Was the pulled pork a success? Yes, it was. But my Traeger plug-in thermometer is flawless, not as cool looking, and it’s connected to the Traeger Wi-Fi app which I can monitor from 100 — well, probably a 1000 miles away.

If you’ve ever used wireless thermometers, then you know how handy they can be. I’ve used a few others before, and I wasn’t sure what to expect from the Typhur one. Predominantly, it is the same as most of the others, besides a few minor yet significant differences. The first of these differences is that you can use the probe without needing the app. This is way handier than you would think, as needing to open the app every time for a quick check or to make a minor adjustment can be annoying. The other difference is the signal strength. I’ve used a few others that can struggle with the signal, especially when in a dense BBQ or oven. This means you need the base pretty much right beside it for it to get a signal. With this one, I was able to get a strong signal much further away.Besides that, the probe is well-designed and sturdy, though I did find it a bit heftier than others I’ve used. Not a major issue most of the time, but if you are trying to use it in a thinner slice of meat, it may be a bit more difficult.Overall, I really like this thermometer, and I have no problems recommending it to anyone looking to jump into the wireless thermometer world or someone looking to add to their collection.WHAT I LIKED:• Well-built and designed• Can control the unit through the base• Base gives you easy-to-read instant feedback• Does have an app but is not necessary to use itWHAT I DIDN’T LIKE:• Probe is pretty thick compared to some

Today I am reviewing the Typhur Sync Grey Wireless Meat Thermometer. The base has a nice indigo blue backlight screen that is easy to read. I like that you don’t have to use the app for just manual use. The base is also rechargeable via USB-C via the included cable. The Typhur App can be downloaded from the AOL store, which really opens up the functionality of the probe. In the app, you can choose different meat and different cooking doneness. There is a graph to watch the cook, and the timers will alert you when you reach the correct temperature. The probe is made of stainless steel with a ceramic end tip. There are 6 temperature sensors inside, and all of them can be seen by opening up the professional tab near the top right of the app. Or stay on the basic tab and just see 2 internal and ambient temperatures. I like the ambient temperature sensor as you see if your oven temperature is correct. This also comes in handy when smoking meats and needs to control the temperature for extended periods of time.I really like the app as it also has recipes that you can access. The probe and base work on Bluetooth and connect instantly; the app needs to use your local WiFi to access the probe. I found it has a good range and didn’t get any dropouts. It’s an absolute must-have if you do any kind of cooking in the kitchen as it can also be used as an instant-read thermometer. I do a lot of smoked meats such as pork shoulders and brisket, and having the ability to read internal and external temperatures is a must-have! I highly recommend this for a gift for yourself, family, or friend !

This is a good meat thermometer, well designed, accurate reading of temperature, and good quality overall. Worth your consideration.
