A bit on the small size for a queen, but perfect for my side of a King.
I’ve never used a weighted blanket before, but my wife has one for her side of the bed and she seems to sleep better when she uses it. I’m having some sleep issues (restless legs, among others) and decided to try a weighted blanket to see if that would help me get a better night’s sleep.It’s an adjustment.I do fall asleep faster and for what I can tell, I’m sleeping better, but we’ll see how it works out over the long term.The blanket itself is very nice. The 15 lb weight is perfect, and the blanket appears to be well made. The cover is soft and warm, and it’s comfortable whether over the sheet on the bed, or used directly while on the couch watching TV.It says it is machine washable, but I haven’t tried that yet so I can’t speak to that. When I do wash it, I plan on washing it by itself so I don’t overload the machine.The one thing you might want to check on is the size. 60×80 is big enough to cover a queen, but just barely. If you put a person (or two) under the blanket, it’s really not big enough. It works perfectly for me to cover my side of a king sized bed. It’s wide enough to cover me, with just enough left over to keep it stable.As long as you understand the size you are getting, you’ll be very happy with this blanket. It may get set aside come spring when it starts heating up outside, but for now, it’s staying on the bed!

Heavy, soft, and warm
This is my first experience with a weighted blanket: it’s an interesting effect. As it’s still far too warm to give it a proper test (by sleeping under it for an entire night), I can’t say if it will have any sleep-related benefits. But, I can say that in the couple minutes I spent laying under it, that it is quite warm and the weight is noticeable.It looks quite nice and is well made. It’s filled with little glass beads (according to the material label), which, if one pinches the blanket between thumb and finger and rubs, one can feel, but aren’t noticeable (other than for the weight they provide) otherwise. The fabrics are soft: running my finger tips across them, I prefer the feel of the fleece side—which is silkier—to the sherpa side, which feels a bit more “plasticy” that I like, but certainly not bad and not even noticeable to less sensitive areas like arms and legs.[Disclosure: I received this product for “free”—in quotes because the IRS considers the item’s retail value as taxable income for federal income tax purposes. Helpful blanket
I’ve been wanting to get my kid a weighted blanket for a while now and liked how fluffy this looked. She’s a teenager and I thought this would be enough weight but I could’ve used something a little heavier than this. It’s warm and soft but gets dirty easily and doesn’t always come out the best. Not bad overall though. It helps at times.
