Very happy with this purchase
I purchased this as I had upcoming knee surgery. I wanted to be sure I knew how to use it before the surgery. People told me I could get one from the hospital via my insurance, to use for a couple weeks. But I wanted my own – so it was up and ready and tested before I got home. I’m so happy I did. This is a great machine. I wish I had it earlier, as it might have helped with some of my knee pain prior to surgery. It’s really easy to use. And the water/ice stays cold for a long time, so that I’m not constantly setting up again. I’m 3 weeks past surgery and I still use this machine. Helps me with continued swelling. I’m glad I purchased this so that I always have it handy, if needed. It does so much more than just what an ice pack or cold pack can do. Also, I’d say it’s a little smaller than I thought it would be, which is a good thing – not so bulky. For the price, I think this is a GREAT buy. I highly recommend this machine if you are looking for something that is comfortable, that helps to reduce swelling, and helps with pain. Good luck !

Great ice machine
Super happy with this! I’ve been borrowing a similar machine from a friend and decided to buy one before my meniscus surgery. It’s been great. I love the whole package. It’s nice to be able to see the temperature of the ice water displayed; its a great way to know if I need to refresh it or if the ice water is still cold enough throughout the day. It makes my icing schedule a lot easier! I’m happy to have this one and impressed with it over the two others I’ve borrowed previously.

This Cold Therapy Machine is a brilliant and cost-effective solution to post-surgery recovery, sports injuries, and general pain relief. It’s tiny but powerful, with a 4-foot hose and dual-voltage charger (110–220V), ideal for home or on the move. The system operates by way of two supplied remotes—there is no on/off switch—so keep one handy as a spare.It is simple to set up once you determine lid placement and hose placement. It requires ice cubes or an ice pad to cool, and filled, the cooling lasts for several hours with no continuous refilling required. The pad also conforms comfortably to different parts of the body, including shoulders, knees, and lower back, and adjustable cool modes offer personalized comfort.Although the device does produce some noise when operating, it’s not obnoxious. The cooling sensation is much more uniform and enduring compared to antiquated ice packs, and it has been a lifesaver in reducing swelling and inflammation following exercise or physical therapy workouts. For added comfort, using a thin cloth or pillowcase between the pad and skin is recommended.

Cold Therapy Machine That Really Helps with Pain
I used this cold therapy machine during physical therapy, and it made a big difference for my pain. Now that I have one at home, I can use it anytime I need relief. The cooling feels consistent and comfortable, and the adjustable modes make it easy to find the right setting. It’s especially helpful after activity when my knee feels sore. Having it at home gives me the same level of care I had in PT, which is very reassuring.

Easy to use, no more changing ice packs multiple times
We got tired of having to change ice packs and having to put it back and then cycling it again and sometimes forgetting to do so. My wife has been going to the chiropractor for prenatal care and now postnatal care and they have found that her lower back gets extremely tight and inflamed and needs icing, so the cycling of packs was just too hassly. We found this machine on Amazon and this simple contraption of an ice bucket and a pump has solved many issues. it took me about 15 minutes to figure it out–there’s a Nuance and a certain position to the lid to make it easy to open/close/take-off, but once you figure it out it’s not that difficult-In order to be able to put it in, don’t move the handle all the way over to the end, leave a bit, and when you put on the lid, make sure that the power side is not the same side the hose comes out of. Put the power side towards the wall, and the hose port towards you. The ice has kept pulled for many many hours and I prefer using my freezers created ice instead of the ice packs they supplied because I like cycling through that. I’m about to buy a roller cart where I can put this on so that I can bring this around the house. I put an infrared thermometer to the ice pack area and it registers at about 39 or 40°F. There’s also a thermostat reading on the left side of the hose port that. I originally got this for my wife, but realized I had some knee and joint pains as well from exercising and this has done wonders– the pad it comes with conforms to these joint areas quite nicely with the cutouts and can also be used for a flat fat area like the back.
