Best Planner for 2026
The planner is better in terms of overall format compared to the 2025 version. I’ve recommended it to some colleagues to purchase and think it’s a must have if you do any daily, weekly, or monthly planning.

Feels luxurious, well made, and very durable
The AT-A-GLANCE Foundation Goal Setting Planner has a lot of space to write, which I really like. The green color isn’t my favorite, but the cover feels luxurious, well made, and very durable. I enjoy the layout and how everything is organized inside. The magnetic closure is a nice touch, though I wish there was a little more room to fit a pen comfortably. The paper feels smooth and doesn’t bleed through when I write. I also noticed the planner includes helpful extras like a ribbon marker and stickers. It’s undated, so I can start using it whenever I want. It feels like a thoughtful design with plenty of room to plan and reflect, but the value is a bit overpriced for me.

A unique project management planner / journal with no fluff and all substance!
I’ve probably looked at a million planners on Amazon trying to find one that fits my lifestyle of not really having traditional “plans” but still wanting to get things done. Most planners lean hard into scheduling, with most of the space dedicated to calendars and time slots. On the other end, productivity journals often feel more fluffy than useful, with large sections devoted to gratitude prompts, motivational quotes, or schedule balancing. None of that really works for me.This planner does include a calendar, but it also offers much more. There are meaningful prompts, brain dump sections, and guided areas designed to help you get ideas out of your head and into action. At the start, there’s an introduction that explains how to use each section effectively, which I found very useful. What sets this apart from other journals is the combination of guided journaling and project management. It makes it easier to process ideas and move them forward. I’ve used plenty of digital tools like Asana, Trello, and Monday, but I find being at my PC too distracting when I’m trying to organize my thoughts. Having a physical journal as an alternative has been a welcome change.I also appreciate that the journal is undated and untimed, so you can work at your own pace without feeling like you’ve fallen behind. One feature I wish had been included is weekly time block pages. Time blocking is a great way to visualize how much of your day is devoted to a project or to assign specific hours if scheduling is your thing. I also think the habit tracking could use more space. While there are pages at the beginning to set up project-related habits, the weekly sections just use checklist boxes. Extra room to note progress or write about consistency would have made it stronger. The build quality and extras are excellent. The magnetic closure is one of my favorite parts since I usually dislike elastic straps or bulky clasps that get in the way once a planner is in use. The included planner stickers are a nice touch, stored in a back cover pocket. The journal has two pen holders, one inside and one outside, so you can carry both a pen or pencil and a highlighter. The sturdy cover leaves enough space for a writing tool to sit inside without affecting the closure, and the book still shuts cleanly. The cover itself feels soft and looks professional, while also offering decent protection from moisture and wear. It actually reminded me of the kind of fold-over gift box with a magnetic clasp.Overall, this is a unique journal that blends project management with guided journaling in a way that isn’t too technical or overwhelming. It makes it easy to track progress and stay productive without needing to rely on distracting apps or overly rigid planners.

Great goal-setting journal – multiple uses
Very nice journal for goal setting and managing. One of the best designs I’ve seen. The size is just right for desktop or briefcase. The binding and cover material is a soft-touch synthetic material that appears durable and easy to wipe clean. Two pen loops are included, 1 inside and 1 outside the magnetic closure that protects the full long edge of the pages from damage. The journal includes fairly comprehensive instructions for using the 3-step process the journal was designed for, but users will still find the organizer useful if they decide not to use the processes as described. I haven’t used the “vision board” and “mind map” functions as intended by the system, and I don’t think I will…but the goal setting, habit forming and project planning sections are elegant and simple, and I will use them; they fit my style of thinking perfectly. The weekly agenda pages will be the real heart of the system for me, and the month-at-a-glance appointment and event pages will be very useful too. I can confirm that the paper is designed to prevent ink bleed-through, and it works. I use a black gel pen and I see no bleed through. I think this is a great buy for a comprehensive organizer, and I am looking forward to my coming year with it. Later on, for the right project, I may even try a vision board. I can recommend this without reservation as well-made with quality materials, and for being exactly as the manufacturer describes it and priced right. Nothing to crtiticize!

So much more than a planner
Most planners I’ve seen are just simple run of the mill planners that are simply for planning and scheduling or for students. This planner is so much more than that. In the front there are pages geared toward setting goals and the steps you might take to reach that goal. There are monthly pages where you can set monthly goals and the steps you will take to reach those goals. And the same goes for each week as well. That makes setting goals easier and easier to track how well you are doing. This planner is also blank – as in the dates. You have to fill in the dates which is good and bad. I don’t like filling in all the numbers and days, but at the same time, that just means I can start using it at any time and I’m not wasting any of the pages.Physically, this planner is nice. The cover is solid and has a magnetic closure as well as 2 ribbon strips to keep your place. It is easy to see how this planner can keep you organized and on track with both your schedule and your goals. It is the size of the average planner, approximately 6X8. It is a little pricier than the average planner, but then again, it’s better than your average planner.
