Wonderful cryotherapy machine!
I ordered the ICENURT cryotherapy machine because of an upcoming total knee replacement. I have to say that this machine has been an incredible part of my rehabilitation! It’s simple to set up and use. With over 30 years healthcare experience, I know the value of using cold therapy for helping the healing process and this product delivers.I have been able to provide cryotherapy overnight without thinking about it because of the options this machine has in regards to length of icing and breaks. Traditionally icing an injury is 20 minutes on and 20 minutes off. This machine provides options of 10, 20, and 30 minutes of icing AND independently set up the “off” (or break from icing) for 10, 20, or 30 minutes. The other option is to have the flow rate of the water to be high, medium, or low. This has allowed me to start before going to sleep and not have to worry about getting up and removing the ice from my knee every 20-30 minutes or needing to add ice to the cooler (ice can last up to 14 hours). These options are a game changer for me and I believe have helped quicken my recovery.The tubes are insulated with foam to maintain the cold temperature of the water that is pushed into the pad, circulated, and then pulled out providing continuous flow of cold water. The connectors are “leak proof” which as been great, but sometimes a couple of drops will come out, but there has never been any leaking of the water.The compression cold pad works great to form around my knee, and it could easily work around foot or on shoulder or arm. There are elastic bands with hook-loop on each end so securely hold the compression pad in place. The compression pad is attached to about a foot long piece of tubing that has the leak-proof connectors so you can unhook yourself from the long tubing/cooler as may be needed for comfort/bio breaks.Overall I have been extremely thrilled with this machine and couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Purchased for Knee Replacement Therapy
I purchased this product because it is small and reasonably priced. This unit has a nice handle which makes it easy to carry. The cold therapy is helping to reduce the inflammation in both my knees so that I can continue to do all the necessary work around the house before my surgery and to help me to recover after my first knee replacement surgery. This unit can be used on multiple body parts as the compression pad can adjust to knee, hip, shoulder and ankle. That is a plus as I understand that after my surgery, my ankle may also swell. The machine has a 9 quart water capacity and I add in 2 small freeze packs and that seems to provide an adequate cold temperature. The machine can run continuously for 10, 20 and 30 minutes and the water flow can be adjusted to high, medium and low. I set the remote control to go on for 10 minutes and off for 10 minutes, the water flow on high and this machine will run all night. When I wake up the treated knee feels good and I can handle my work for the day. I am trying to be as prepared for this surgery and to make it as successful as possible and believe this unit will help me both before and after surgery. I would highly recommend it for it’s effectiveness, good quality and effectiveness. I also put clothing between the pad and my skin – like my pajamas and I’m quite comfortable. (PS It was easy to put together – but since water is heavy – make sure you put the unit where you will be using it).

Theres’ NONE like this one!
I’ve had several ice machines over the years to care for me after a surgery. This one uses bottled ice (6). 12 bottles to freeze and refreeze. Then, just a small amount of ice and water will fill it to its marked place. That’s it!!!! And best of all, there’s a programmable remote.There’s a way to drain the water from the base.There’s no lifting if it’s hard on one’s back or arms, especially if one of your arms is what you need.The ice for of course 😉. No leakage. This particular ice machine really does hold its cold all night?Long up to twelve hours at a time. The price is moderate, and the benefits is too many to just keep talking about. I couldn’t praise this machine any higher.It is absolutely the best!

Great Product, Excellent customer service
I ordered the Icenurt to help with my knees before my knee replacement surgery. When I received my order it was DOA. I really wanted to try this ice machine because it was programmable, it also has quick release so you don’t have to remove pad if you need to get up for something.I returned machine for an even exchange. Mary from Icenurt reached out to me also. Told me if I have any more concerns to reach out to her.I’ve been using this machine since it came in on Jan 24th. I had no problems with leakage. I love that I can freeze 6 water bottles instead of using ice. It’s easy to program to run 10-20-30 mins on or off. You can also just have it turn on for continuous flow. You can set the flow to high, medium, or low depending on how cold you want it. It’s going to be a game changer when I have my knee surgery next week.If they wanted to make an upgrade to product I would love to see a full wrap around therapy pad that could be purchased for use. I would also love some hooks on outside of cooler to wrap the hose around when you’re done with machine for a few hours so the hose is out of the way. Everything does fits nicely inside the cooler for storage, but when you’re using it continuously it would be nice to have a wrap around option available so hose is out of the way. This is an excellent product for the price point. Very nicely made machine.
