Best Pill Dispenser
This is working great for my mom. We have had to change the intervals a few times because of her prescribed medicines and doctors finding what works for her medicine wise. But I love that you have up to 9 different alarms to use throughout the day.It does get easier as time moves along to open the face of the container, just be patient. It took about a month for me. When ever I had to open the face of the container I would open the pill dispensary door, place my index finger inside to lift the face while pressing the green button down with my other thumb from my other hand. Just perform this action with caution because you risk all the pills falling out if the whole wheel has not dispensed all pills yet.Others have said in reviews smaller pills get stuck when dispensing, What I have done to avoid this is I have asked my mom to flip it over completely and open the door and all pills will come out. I asked that she do this over the bed, so she can see the pills laying on her bed. She has yet to experience the pills getting stuck in the slot between the wheel and the device.Even if you take out the battery (which we have had to due to multi hospital visits) the previous alarm settings are still set! No resetting the alarms or trying to remember what you had set before!This is worth the money and has worked for my mom. Pill life is easier now.

Nice product
We desperately needed this product to protect an older relative. This made managing her medication possible. We bought a 2nd one to handle her nighttime medication. This allowed longer time between refills of the dispenser. The locks worked great and the battery lasted as advertised. Nice Product

This is a 28 day automatic medicine dispensing machine. Not sure why they didn’t make it a 31 day to match days in the month.Note: If you need to dispense meds twice (2) a day it will only be good for 14 days.It flashes along with alarm and the alarm can be really loud if needed. Alarm sounds until the unit is tipped over for dispensing.Easy to load and set up. Locks to protect from spilling or unwanted tampering.I bought one for both of my parents, put their individual names on each and set different dispensing times.Loving it so far..very comforting knowing that they are taking their meds daily

Easy to set up, easier to use!!
This has been a game changer for sure. Easy to set up and easier for elderly grandparent to use. I did purchase the flipper thingy but so far have been unsuccessful in mounting to device so as to not fall off. We mounted once , tilted and device fell to floor. No breaks, no cravks, didn’t pop open nor did meds bounce into other compartments. Great item! Now if only we can get to secure and stay on flipper thingy

Works well for it’s purpose, however too confusing for a demential patient.
I’m giving it 5 stars because it is a great product… does everything it needs to do and is lightweight and solid. I do want to let others know, however, that even though it seems so easy to operate for most, if you are purchasing it for a dementia patient because they aren’t remembering their medicines, it can be confusing. I thought it would be the solution for taking medicines on schedule, but it is not. Sadly.

The Verdict is Still Out – Just starting to use it
Update 2/23/24: liked it while it lasted, less than 4 years after purchase it doesn’t work, only turns half as far as it needs to.Just got the device . . . QUESTION: here can I get an extra key, or what else can I use to un-lock / lock it when the single key that comes with it gets lost.My thoughts so far: (1) fairly easy to set up the alarms; (2) tricky to get the 2nd alarm to be the first set of pills dispensed on day one; (3) the slots are pretty small if you miss-load pills and need to get them out. But I am optimistic it will work well for my Mom. Will update that part later.

An awkward first meeting
I bought this for her. However, astoundingly, she does not hear it go off louder than a bomb raid siren. Rather, HE panics and (both in motorized wheelchairs) chases her around the house with it still screaming away. Then they both leave it somewhere obscure and mysterious until the next siren goes off and, well, press REPEAT.I’m no better: lost the key in less than a week and just figured out I’ve also lost the spare I bought just in case I…(sigh).Imagine the fun of trying to crack it open to split a pill already in there. The pill slot? It’s a crevice. I use scissors to manipulate the pills already loaded, but, yeah, what a pain. I miss opening just one day’s worth with no fear of raining pills.Finally, it and I quibbled over when Day 1 was and when Day 2, but apparently for now, we’re at last in sync.It’s nifty and I’m sure it’s a godsend for somebody who already has their caca together…which would beg the question: then why buy it?

Reliable and durable. I can hear the alarm all over the house. My only suggestion: if I want to turn it off, I have to remove the batteries which is very inconvenient.
