Perfect for our needs
I bought this for a friend of mine who was having trouble taking his medication properly. After the initial adjustment of him hating it he grew to accept it. We set it for 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. and he was prepared for it when it went off. The only issue was with the lock which has to be double check to make sure it’s locked properly but other than that it worked great.

Not for managing addiction etc, but dependable and easy to use for scheduling and reminders.
Functions to manage pills. However, it is NOT tamper proof. And by tamper I mean you can simply take your finger and move the wheel to click past the open window for getting the medicine before timer has gone off at designated time. It would help someone to remember to take them, but for any other reason regarding moderating medicine and not taking it too soon, it’s a joke. And I wish there was options for alarm bc the high pitch tone beep it does every 7 seconds when it’s time always made me jump out of my skin. I could see this being useful for an older person that needs help remembering when and what to take and how often.Definitely not for managing addiction etc. it doesn’t keep anyone from just spinning the wheel inside the window and emptying the whole thing. NOT TAMPER PROOF! ❌🦝🙅🏻♀️

Easy to use and works amazingly. My mom is getting dementia and either forgets or takes too many of her pills. I just set the alarm for when she takes her pills and that’s all she gets at one time with it locked. She now calls me twice a day to say how much she enjoys this dispenser.

Indispensable dispenser.
I have used this style of pill dispensers for years. Purchased this one for my mom who lives alone. Used to use the cheap plastic boxes for her pills, but found she would just forget to take them, or could even take a double dose if she gets confused. Now the lights flash and the sound beeps (if you want) as it rotates the day’s dosage into place. If she does forget to take a dose, the missed dose is rotated out, making way for the new dose. This is a huge benefit to prevent accidently double-dosing. The battery life is good and works reliably, and there is a simple key lock to prevent tampering with the pills, which mom has been prone to do. Design flaws: This brand has a plastic blank slot used as a starting place for dispensing, which can inadvertently rotate in that blank instead of the meds if you are not careful where that blank is placed when refilling the carousel. Wish they just gave another empty slot to use if you want. Another is this brand is larger than a older brand I used in the past, which makes it slightly more cumbersome to use.

Do NOT order this, it is a waste of $50 hard-earned dollars.
It worked beautifully for 2 weeks with batteries that were included. I changed the batteries, and then it worked for 1 month before just not advancing (good batteries, keeping time, timers set, but when the alarm goes off, the tray does NOT advance. Reset timers, tested timers, it seemed to work after resetting them, but now it is NOT RELIABLE, so we are ordering a replacement from another manufacturer. DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT.

It’s nice to have a pill dispenser, the only probably I have is, I take medicine 3x’s a day and at the last day there is not a slot for bedtime. I wish there was a bigger size to handle more days.
