Excellent for Post-Surgery Cold Therapy
Bought this ice therapy machine for cold therapy after my back surgery because it was less expensive than most and it’s been a huge help in my pain level and recovery. The pad is large enough to cover both my lower and mid back, providing consistent cooling relief. I use frozen water bottles in the tank along with water, and it keeps the temperature cold for a long time. The compartment has a soft insulated design, more like a carry bag, which makes it easy to move from room to room. Just make sure the bag is zipped securely — the pump can pull out easily if it’s not. The built-in timer works perfectly and makes it easy to set treatment sessions. Overall, a great product for pain and swelling relief after surgery.

Did ok wish it had full knee wrap so back of knee gets cold .
Wrap on knee doesn’t go all the way around. But it gets cold .

It has been a tremendous help in my recovering from my knee surgery! You can keep it on all the time if you want which I have done. It kept my leg from swelling much and the relief due to the cold water around my knee was just phenomenal! Much better than trying to keep up with cold compresses all the time. Much easier for your care giver also ! I very highly recommend you get one!

Holds zero water in cooler (leak) and pumps does nothing and no shoulder strap to scure
I really hope it was just mine that didn’t work. They needed to hook it up while I was put to sleep and wake up with it on after shoulder surgery but the cooler itself leaked incredibly bad and holds zero water. We switched out the cooler for something else but the pump does exactly nothing besides noise. I wouldn’t rely on this and if you do order one, order ahead of time and as soon as possible to make sure it works. We’ve tried for over an hour and it still does nothing. It also didn’t come with straps to secure to my shoulder, so even if it did work, it would barely make a difference. I definitely feel ripped off by this company/product and that’s horrible to do to someone in a medical situation. Since this is advertised as therapy and for medical use, my doctor is looking into legal action towards the seller for false advertisement and infringement of his medical process. He is far more angrier than I am, I just want my money back and a machine that works as soon as possible before they attempt any legal issues cause it could have been a fluke but truly there should not be flukes paying this much and anything medical.

Overall, this is a game-changer. I had a knee replacement last week and need constant icing. This is easy to set up and stays cool for hours. Instead of using ice, we filled the container 1/2 way with water then added 4 frozen water bottles. It stays icy cold for hours. Then just switch out for new frozen water bottles while you refreeze the originals.The only problem I’m having is that the tubes that go into the ice-pack where it wraps around my leg, are not flat. They dig into my shin and it’s uncomfortable. I have to really pad it to make that comfy enough to keep on.
